The cyanotype process uses a mixture of iron compounds, which when exposed to UV light and washed in water to create Prussian Blue images. This makeshop is open to students of all skill levels. It covers how to: How to mix a simple solution of ferric ammonium citrate and potassium ferricyanide to create a negative transparency. Students will have a selection of design materials to use in addition to the tools needed to complete their project. The makeshop lasts approximately 2.5 hours.
